Our Mission

Dear Past, Present and Future Volunteers,

Unfortunately, due to the catastrophic spread of COVID-19 in Guatemala, we must cancel all remaining missions for 2020 and for the first half of 2021.

But there are other ways to support humanitarian endeavors that promote life-saving outcomes….

HELPS International, our parent organization, is preparing to conduct an in-country supported project in Santa Maria de Jesus in an effort to reduce poverty and thwart hunger.

In this desperate community, the goal is to install 3500 ONIL stoves and water filters and provide “food bags” containing, corn, rice and beans along with a protein drink. The Stove/Water filter combo is $250 US dollars and the food bag (for 5 days of nutrition) is $65 US dollars.

If you’d like to donate via our website to this focused relief effort, just indicate Project Santa Maria de Jesus with your contribution.

Thank you for your charitableness and we hope you will be able to join one of our teams in 2022!

Our mission is providing free healthcare and health education, where medical services are severely lacking along with supporting community development projects to the impoverished population in the Highlands of Guatemala. Our passion is changing lives.

Whether you are a health professional, student, teacher, construction worker, cook, etc. we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to utilize your talents, skills, experiences and resources.

Please explore our website and discover how you too can become involved.
